High Performance Glazing with HiR Tripane Glass Triple glazing provides:
- Lower solar heat gain(SHGC) to keep out more of the sun’s heat resulting in energy savings in cooling-dominated climates.
- Lower total window U-factor/higher R-value for greater resistance to outgoing heat flow for heating-dominated climates. Increase full frame window performance up to R-5.
- Low UV Transmittance will greatly minimize fading on carpet, window treatments, upholstery and art work.
With three glass options available there is one that will fit your project perfectly.
- LoĒ-179™ is well suited for northern climates with its high visible light transmittance and higher solar heat gain coefficient.
- LoĒ2-272® makeup is a good choice for moderate regions with its midrange values.
- LoĒ3-366® with its high visible light transmittance and low solar heat gain coefficient would be a great choice for southern climates, or wherever natural light is desired but solar hear gain can create overheating.
Use the chart below to help specify the right glass for your project.
